
“Tribute to the Freedom Riders”
New Orleans artists Ceaux Young, Taylor Ashby, Cierra Johnson and Camron Irvin were commissioned by Brandan bmike Odums to create art in tribute to New Orleans Civil Rights icons and freedom riders - Jerome 'Big Duck' Smith and Dodie Smith- Simmons. This bus will be an opportunity to educate the New Orleans community about our local heroes. in partnership with RTA, ASHE cultural center and Bmike LLC





“Treme
With Love”
New Orleans artist Brandan Bmike Odums, Ceaux Young, Journey Allen, Charlie Vaughn, and teen artist from the Belite collective collaborated to transform the exterior of the historic Treme Center. paying tribute to the rich history of the Treme neighborhood and Congo Square. with support from New Orleans Cultural economy, NORD and Arts Council.







“Freedom Drum”
New Orleans Arts collective Level Artist Collective: Rontherin Ratliff, Horton Humble. John Isiah Walton, Ana Hernandez and Carl Joe Williams, with additional work from YaYa teen artist and Belite Collective artist under the direction of Black Masking Indians FlagBoy Giz and Big Queen Tahj - transform the former Confederate monument site on Norman Francis parkway , adding to the vacant site a new monument in tribute to freedom. With support from the ACLU of Louisiana.
